Pete has been a vet at Synergy Farm Health in Dorset since 2013, were his particular interest is in pigs. Given the geography of pig farms in the UK, this has meant engaging in the whole spectrum of holdings from commercial to backyard pigs, pedigree breeders and even the occasional pet (!). Pete is chairman of the pig committee at the Dorset County Show, has written a book with Claire Scott and James Adams (see Keeping Pigs: A Practical Guide for Smallholders) and is particularly interested in empowering vets to foster a closer working relationship with their smaller scale pig clients.
