Matt graduated from the University of Bristol in 2015 having intercalated in Pharmacology. He went on to work in central London at a busy hospital/referral centre for a year followed by a further 3 years in small animal first opinion practice in North Wales and North West England. He started his clinical pathology residency with The VPG in 2020, passing the American College of Veterinary Pathologists board exams in 2024. He continues to work for the VPG as part of the clinical pathology team.
