Manuel Vega qualified as a veterinary surgeon from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2014. After three years of first opinion and emergency practice, Manuel undertook a rotating internship at the Small Animal Hospital of the University of Glasgow in 2020, followed by a discipline-specific surgical internship. Manu joined Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists in 2022 as a discipline-specific intern in Surgery, where he progressed to a residency program and he is currently a final year ECVS (Small Animal Surgery) resident. Manuel enjoys all aspects of Surgery, with particular interest in emergency surgery and fracture repair
