Madonna has always been passionate about animals receiving high levels of care and the human animal bond not being species specific. She graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2002 and is Head Vet at a private clinic, teaches exotic animal medicine and surgery at Glasgow Veterinary School, is widely published in peer reviewed journals and textbook, is an exotics consultant for two groups of external laboratories, and speaks widely on Exotics to Veterinary Professionals. Madonna believes empowering veterinary professionals to treat these wonderful species in house not only enriches their careers, it means improved animal welfare for many beloved pets.
