I am a board-certified veterinary anaesthesiologist with a deep commitment to advancing patient safety through the lens of human factors, team dynamics, and organisational culture. As a Senior Clinician in Veterinary Anaesthesia at the University of Glasgow, I am actively involved in clinical practice, research, and teaching – including simulation-based education that fosters psychological safety, effective communication, and collaborative teamwork. I am currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Queensland, focusing on the application of human factors principles to enhance patient safety in veterinary medicine.
