Liz worked in mixed practice, overseas and in the UK, before settling in Somerset as a director of a small animal veterinary hospital. Whilst in practice she gained a clinical doctorate in badger rehabilitation and release and RCVS specialist status in Wildlife Medicine (Mammalian). Her main interest is the welfare of British wildlife. She now works as Scientific Advisor to a wildlife charity, alongside academic and other part-time roles. She is also the current Junior Vice President of the BVA and a Past President of BVZS.
