Linda is a highly respected educationalist with 20 years’ experience across the health, and higher / continuing education, sectors. She has an International Master’s Degree and PhD in Medical Education from Maastricht University in the Netherlands, is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Educators. Prior to joining the RCVS in 2018, Linda has worked as an educationalist both within the NHS, as well as within higher education as Associate Dean for Learning, Teaching and the Student Experience, and Professor of Professional Education. Linda is responsible for leading the Education Department within the College, including the accreditation of University Veterinary School degrees, oversight and quality assurance of the Certificate of Advanced Veterinary Practice and the Advanced Practitioner and Specialists register, implementation of the Statutory Membership Examination, VetGDP and CPD.
