Dr Kate Murphy graduated in 1996 from The University of Bristol, UK, where she subsequently undertook a residency in small animal medicine and worked as a senior clinical fellow in small animal emergency medicine and intensive care. She has worked in 3 private referral hospitals associated with busy first opinion practices and since 2017 has been working providing remote specialist advice to practitioners around the world as well as working in referral practice. She is an RCVS Specialist in Small Animal Medicine, a European Veterinary Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the RCVS. Kate believes in practical and pragmatic medicine and enjoys collaborating with vets and owners to find the best approach for an individual pet. She has broad interests in Internal medicine.
