Joseph is the Surgical Lead RVN at a first opinion hospital near Sheffield. In his role, he oversees clinical quality and professional development regarding anaesthesia, surgical nursing, diagnostic imaging and dentistry. In 2021, he gained his nursing certificate in dentistry and is currently working towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Veterinary Education, Coaching and Leadership. Joseph is strongly motivated towards nurse recognition, utilisation and empowerment having successfully introduced a nurse led procedure service in his practice that sees his RVN colleagues conduct a variety of produces including CT scans, dental assessments and minor surgical procedures. In 2023, his colleagues successfully nominated him as part of the London Vet Show’s Thirty under 30 Class in recognition of his achievements.
