Fiona Leathers is a RVN and Director of Operations at Westport Vets, an independent group based in Central Scotland. Fiona leads on operational strategy, people development, and service delivery, working to build sustainable, high-performing teams. Fiona joined Westport in 2018, having started her career in 1998 as a receptionist before qualifying as an RVN in 2002. Her background spans clinical nursing, practice management, and senior leadership, giving her a practical, grounded approach. She holds qualifications in ILM Leadership & Management with a strong interest in team culture, leadership development, and supporting individuals through growth & transition. Fiona’s work has been recognised nationally, including being awarded Petplan Practice Manager of the Year 2025 and The Blue Cross Veterinary Nurse of the Year 2017.
