Dan O’Neill is Professor of Companion Animal Epidemiology at the Royal Veterinary College and co-lead of the RVC VetCompass Programme.
After 22 years in practice and industry, Dan moved to the RVC to complete a PhD developing VetCompass to explore breed-related health in dogs and cats. Dan has authored over 180 peer-reviewed papers and co-written two books. He chairs the UK Brachycephalic Working Group and contributes to several national and international welfare initiatives. His work has earned multiple awards, including the RCVS Impact Award and the Kennel Club’s International Canine Health Award.
