Daisy graduated from The Royal Veterinary College in 2012 and then spent two and a half years in mixed practice in Staffordshire dealing with all species. Following this time in first opinion practice, Daisy completed a one-year anaesthesia internship at the Small Animal Teaching Hospital of the University of Liverpool based in the Wirral, Cheshire. Following this, Daisy embarked on a career solely in anaesthesia and analgesia and started a three-year anaesthesia residency programme at the Royal Veterinary College, London in July 2016. During the residency, Daisy developed specific interests in airway management under anaesthesia, analgesia and management of cardiovascularly compromised patients requiring surgery. Daisy joined Fitzpatrick Referrals as an anaesthetist in July 2019. Daisy sat and passed the written part of my diploma exams in November 2020.
