Ben has been at the RCVS since 2006, working in the Veterinary Nursing and Professional Conduct Departments before moving to a role in the Policy and Public Affairs Team, which he now manages. Ben’s team help to develop College policy on matters as varied as legislative reform and environment and sustainability. Current projects include developing policy on governance reform and mandatory practice regulation, in addition to numerous research projects that provide an evidence base for the College’s work. Ben holds a degree in Politics & History from the University of Durham, and a Masters Degree in Politics from Birkbeck, University of London.
