After graduating from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, Anneka spent a short time in mixed animal practice before starting a career as a first opinion emergency out-of- hours clinician in 2016. Anneka completed a post graduate certificate in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care and became an RCVS recognised Advanced Practitioner in Emergency and Critical Care in 2021. Alongside her role as senior veterinary surgeon in a busy out of hours clinic, Anneka teaches emergency medicine in various new graduate academies and recent graduate programmes. In her spare time, she is enjoys exploring the West Country with her labrador.
