Andy spent five years as a GP vet prior to returning to the University of Bristol to complete a surgical residency. Following three years as a Lecturer in Small Animal Orthopaedics at the RVC, Andy moved into private referral practice, initially as part of the leadership team at Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists and then in 2023 opening the Moores Orthopaedic Clinic, an independent Specialist orthopaedic-only referral centre near Basingstoke. Andy obtained the RCVS Diploma in Small Animal Surgery (Orthopaedics) in 2004, the ECVS Diploma in 2005 and became an RCVS Specialist in 2006. He was awarded Fellowship of the RCVS in 2017. Andy has published widely with over 50 scientific papers and review articles to his name.
