After earning his veterinary degree from the Royal Veterinary College in 2002, Alex completed an internship at the Queen Mother Hospital and earned a certificate in small animal medicine. His diverse background includes training as a chef in 2007 and running a cake business for 10 years with his wife while continuing to work as a vet. In 2019, Alex co-founded Mulberry House Vets in Wokingham, which has grown into a two-site practice with ten full-time equivalent vets over six years.
