Safety Measures

Safety First, Always

We, the team behind BVA Live and the London Vet Show, view our role as pretty simple: to help contribute to the well being, development and advancement of the veterinary community. We can’t do it single-handed, nor do we have to. Having hosted the London Vet Show since 2009, our normal contribution is to provide education, with the help of our partners, and add a bit of cheer in the form of a regular meeting place for friends old and new.

In 2021, our Vet Shows needs to be different. Bringing people together needs to be looked at a new way. We hope it has always been implicit but it feels like now more than ever, we need to let you know: your safety is our number one priority.

This has always been the most basic element of our role, so you can rest assured we are well qualified. We are going above and beyond the appropriate actions to ensure your event experience is smooth and safe. Our Event Director and team are constantly monitoring the Covid-19 situation, and evolving plans to align with the latest government guidance. All delegates, speakers and exhibitors will be updated regularly with everything they need to know. If our 2021 event cannot occur due to Covid-19, delegate bookings will be covered by our flexible booking policy.

The thing we love most about the vet community is that everyone chips in to help, and this hasn't been more evident than the past year. So we know that our visitors and staff will abide by our safety regulations at the inaugural BVA Live 2021, so we can all enjoy meeting again. Keep an eye out on this page over the coming months for updates on specific precautions we will have in place in June. In the meantime, you can read about what features the venue has prepared:

All that's left to say is - we can't wait to see you at the first BVA Live at the NEC, Birmingham!

I'm not ready to book my ticket just yet, but I'd like to be kept up-to-date with your safety features:

I'd like to register for the BVA Live but I need some more information:

What is the Flexible Booking Policy?

We understand that Covid-19 is impacting planning travel right now and your personal situation can change suddenly. That's why you can book the BVA Live today with zero risk. If you book now and later decide to not attend the event based on concerns around health and safety, you can cancel before 30th April and a refund receive.

But we are flexible and know you still need your CPD - so if you're interested in one of other other Vet Shows, you are more than welcome to request a transfer to the London Vet Show. You are also more than welcome to switch your pass into BVA Live 2022 or even for credits on Vet Show Academy for on-demand, instant CPD!
