Carbodote Prime is the first activated charcoal product for cats and dogs to contain a cathartic, which speeds up intestinal transit time ensuring that bound toxins are expelled more quickly. In many poisoning cases, repeated administration of plain activated charcoal is required due to the nature of the toxin involved - in these situations, Carbodote Prime is then followed by Carbodote Repeat, which can be administered to the patient every 4-6 hours over 24-48 hours.

Both products are presented as a ready-mixed easy to swallow gel formulation, ensuring less mess and reduced risk of aspiration. The 60ml ‘dial and dispense’ syringes mean administration is easy for both veterinary staff and pet owners.
