"Will my itchy dog get back to normal?" - can we raise owners’ expectations in canine allergic and atopic dermatitis?
This session will focus on evidence-based treatment targets when treating dogs with atopic dermatitis and how new therapies can help you to achieve these.
Learn about Zenrelia (ilunocitinib), including evidence from a head-to-head clinical trial and case feedback from UK dermatology specialists. Zenrelia is Elanco’s once-daily JAK inhibitor for the treatment of canine allergic and atopic dermatitis, which brings 45% more itchy dogs back to normal levels of itch compared with Apoquel* and with a comparable safety profile [1]. Globally, Zenrelia has already been used to treat over 2 million dogs since its first launch in 2024 [2].
*77% of dogs treated with Zenrelia achieved PVAS <2 by Day 112 compared to 53% of dogs treated with Apoquel. A ‘normal’ itch score is considered to be comparable to that of a healthy, non-allergic dog (PVAS <2).[1] 1. Forster S et al. Vet Dermatol. 2025 Apr;36(2):165–76. 2. Elanco Animal Health.
